An eye-catching 1.47ct oval-faceted amethyst measuring 8.90mm long and 7.01mm wide graded ‘light-lilac’ color and ‘good’ clarity constitutes the focal point of this exquisite openwork plaque, while six additional round-faceted amethysts cumulatively weighing 1.25cts, measuring 3.59mm in diameter and graded ‘medium-lilac’ color and ‘fair’ clarity are interspersed throughout the openwork panel. These vivacious ‘royal gems’ are complemented by 23 temptingly delicate seed pearls graded ‘silverish-cream’ color. A matching colored teardrop-shaped freshwater pearl measuring 5.85mm long and 4.15mm wide suspends ‘en tremblant’ from the lowermost extremity of the pendant, supported by a delicate yellow gold chain and enhanced by a pearl-studded fleur-de-lis profile. The reverse of this elaborately detailed pendant and brooch is stamped with '14k' and ‘F83’ probably the goldsmith’s reference number. This Victorian inspired vintage pendant and brooch features a well-concealed triumvirate bale of pronounced width and a hinged pin secured with a bayonet clasp.
